GREENE COUNTY Jasper Road paving

The Greene County Engineer’s Office announced that John R. Jurgensen Co. began paving Jasper Road between the Xenia corporation limit and Ohio 72 on Tuesday and the project will last one week, weather and equipment permitting.

Jasper Road will be under construction between the hours of 6 a.m. and 7 p.m., Monday to Saturday. Traffic will be maintained using flaggers. Travelers can expect delays and are encouraged to use alternative routes.

When traveling through these areas, motorists are asked to slow down and use caution as there are unmarked no passing zones.

Jasper Road was originally scheduled for paving in 2021 but was rescheduled due to trucking and temperatures last fall.
