Culvert replacement

A project to replace two culverts on Ohio 122 at Bull Run and east of Springboro Road is scheduled to begin, requiring a 30-day closure of the route beginning early next month.

On Tuesday, July 5, contractors for the Ohio Department of Transportation will close Ohio 122 between Bunnell Hill Road and Ohio 741 to replace culverts at the 6.34 and 6.36mile markers.

The closure will be in effect through Aug. 4, and while Ohio 122 is closed, traffic will be detoured via Ohio 122, Ohio 48, Ohio 73 and Ohio 741. Springboro Road will also be closed at the intersection with Ohio 122, and motorists may detour by way of Pekin Road to either Ohio 741 or Ohio 48.

Axis Civil Construction, LLC was awarded a contract in the amount of $279,351 to complete the project.
