GREENE COUNTY HEALTH INSPECTION­S

The following are summaries of the state of Ohio standard inspection reports on file from the Greene County Combined Health District, from the week Oct. 17-21. District informatio­n is available online at www.yourfoodsa­fety.com/greene/.

Arrowood Elementary School

1588 Pawnee Drive, Xenia

Date of inspection: Oct. 17 Violations: Cleaning - frequency and restrictio­ns.

■ Found fans in the walk-in cooler dirty. Please clean.

■ Found the floors in the walk-in freezer to be dirty. Please clean.

■ Found the scullery sprayer dirty. Please clean.

Comments: PIC was verbally informed of all violations noted during inspection. All signatures and initials on the inspection report have been digitally signed and agreed upon by both the PIC and the inspector. Inspection report will be emailed to PIC.

Please have all violations corrected prior to next standard.

McKinley Elementary School

829 Colorado Drive, Xenia

Date of inspection: Oct. 18

Violations: Found squeeze bottles of ranch in the walk-in cooler not labeled. Please ensure that all products that are removed from the original container must be properly labeled with the common name of the food.

Found the walk-in freezer missing one of the air curtains. Please ensure that the air curtains are properly intact and in front of the door at all times to prevent moisture and ice buildup from occurring.

Found the hand-washing sink by the prep table not turning on. PIC stated that the sensor inside the handwashin­g sink was not functionin­g. Work order was placed to repair hand-washing sink.

Tecumseh Elementary School

1058 Old Springfiel­d Pike, Xenia

Date of inspection: Oct. 18

Violations: Found the sanitizer for S&S at the three-compartmen­t sink lower than the required minimum. Checked the sanitizer dispenser and noticed that the sanitizer was not registerin­g at the adequate ppm. PIC stated that she would be making a phone call to ecolab to come out and adjust. At time of inspection, PIC drained sanitizer at three-compartmen­t sink and had quat tablets and test strips to utilized until sanitizer dispensing unit has been fixed.

Equipment food-contact surfaces or utensils are dirty.
