GREENE COUNTY HEALTH INSPECTION­S

The following are summaries of the state of Ohio standard inspection reports on file from the Greene County Combined Health District, from the week Jan. 2 to Jan. 6. District informatio­n is available online at https://www. yourfoodsa­fety.com/greene/.

Another Broken Egg Cafe

2453 Esquire Drive, Beavercree­k

Date of inspection: Jan. 5 Violations: Found dishwasher employee not changing gloves between using clean and dirty sides of machine; employee was wearing same gloves for dirty dishes and clean dishes. Please ensure that employees are practicing proper glove usage and washing hands in between glove change to prevent possible contaminat­ion. PIC corrected.

Found unlabeled chemical spray bottle in back storage area by office. Please ensure that all working containers are properly labeled. PIC corrected.

Found multiple employees on cookline with long facial hair that was not properly restrained with beard guards. Please ensure that facial hair longer than ¼ inch is restrained using a bear guard.

Found multiple stacks of wet nesting dishes in back area by silverware rolling station. Please ensure that dishes are properly and completely air dried before stacking to prevent possible bacterial growth during storage. PIC corrected.

Repairing.

1. Found 1 light out in the walk-in freezer. Please repair.

2. Found 6 light bulbs out underneath cookline exhaust hoods. Please replace burned out bulbs.

Found the wall and floor by the prep area where bacon grease is dumped to be dirty. Please clean wall and floor to remove grease buildup.

Found wet mops in mop sink and in mop buckets that are not being hung up after use. Please hang dry mops after use to allow for proper air drying.

Comments: Please have all violations corrected prior to next standard inspection.

Marco’s Pizza

3989-C Colonel Glenn Highway, Beavercree­k

Date of inspection: Jan. 3 Violations: PIC does not have person in charge training certificat­e. Please enroll employee(s) into food training so that facility can meet food code requiremen­ts when Food protection manager is not present.

Found shaker jar of parmesan cheese on cutting table at 70 degrees F at time of inspection. Package says, “keep refrigerat­ed.” Please keep this product at 41 degrees F or less per manufactur­er requiremen­ts and to prevent possible foodborne illness. PIC corrected.

Found multiple cracked plastic food container lids on the clean dishware shelves and in the make table cooler. Please discontinu­e using these lids as they are not smooth and easily cleanable.

Found the interior walk-in cooler door release button to be broken and hanging from door. Please repair this door handle so that all the surfaces are sealed, smooth and easily cleanable.

Comments: Please have all violations corrected prior to next standard inspection.
