The following are summaries of the state of Ohio standard inspection reports on file from the Warren County Combined Health District, from the weeks of Jan. 30 to Feb. 10. District informatio­n is available online at www. wcchd.com.

during inspection. Equipment food-contact surfaces or utensils are unclean. 1. Numerous pans were still greasy after being cleaned. 2. Deli slicer was dirty with food residues and particles.

To reduce the likelihood of contaminat­ion, ensure that these and all food-contact surfaces are thoroughly cleaned.

Corrected during inspection. Refrigerat­ed, ready-toeat, TCS foods not properly date marked. A pot roast was kept in the walk-in cooler from the previous day without properly date labeling the pan. The pan will be portioned up, and those portions date labeled.

There was significan­t ice buildup in the reach-in freezer. To reduce the likelihood of contaminat­ing products stored in the freezer, ensure that ice is regularly cleaned out to prevent buildup.

The hand sink has come unsealed from the wall. To prevent mold growth and potential damage to the walls, reseal the hand sink so that water may not collect behind it.

There were several sections of wall, particular­ly around the door to the office, that had gaps and holes in the wall. To eliminate potential harborage conditions for pests, ensure that the walls are all intact and do not have gaps where pests can enter.

The back room is cluttered with equipment and debris, and the floor of the walk-in cooler has accumulate­d a significan­t amount of food debris. Clean the back room up to reduce the likelihood of pest harborage.

Comments: Facility is risk level IV due to serving undercooke­d eggs and occasional catering activities.

Marco’s Pizza

Date of inspection: Feb. 3 Violations: Corrected during inspection. Improper storage of poisonous or toxic materials. Sanitizer buckets being held next to single-use containers and salad dressings. Separate the poisonous or toxic materials by spacing or partitioni­ng.

Facility does not have an employee with manager certificat­ion in food protection. PIC certificat­e was expired.

Physical facilities not maintained in good repair. Tiles by back door are missing. Exit door sweep is open to the outside. Repair tiles and exit door.

Facility not maintained clean. Dust covering intake vents, soils and debris accumulati­ng under tables/sinks/ equipment/water heater and the corners of the walk-in.

RFE does not comply with Level One Certificat­ion requiremen­ts. PIC did not have level one or level two certificat­ion.

Comments: All temperatur­es were in range. Good job.
