Pickrel, Schaeffer & Ebeling welcomes new attorney
Pickrel, Schaeffer & Ebel- ing Co., LPA announced that Deztany Johnson recently joined the firm as an asso- ciate attorney and will be a member of its litigation and business departments.
Johnson completed an undergraduate degree at Miami University in 2015 in philosophy and political sci- ence in 2015, and obtained a Juris Doctorate from the University of Dayton Col- lege of Law in 2022. As a UD law student, Deztany was the Black Law Student Association president, Chief Justice UDSL Moot Court, teaching assistant to Pro- fessor Ebony Davenport, Judge Epley, and received the Brother Raymond Fitz Student for Justice Award recipient.
Before joining PSE as an attorney, Johnson prac- ticed civil litigation for the past year, concentrating on insurance defense, medi- cal malpractice, and personal injury.
Johnson is vice chair for the Dayton Bar Association’s (DBA) New Lawyer Division and is a member of the DBA Leadership & Development Class of 2023.
LMG acquires treetree marketing agency
D ay t o n and Char- lotte-based LMG (Lunne Marketing Group, Inc.) announced it has acquired Columbus-based treetree, a creative and marketing agency.
The combined agency’s expertise is driving growth for brands in the financial services, health care, retail and industry categories. Now, the company has 60 employees working in three vibrant offices in the Short North in Columbus, Web- ster Station in Dayton, and FreeMoreWest in Charlotte.
The company will operate under the LMG and treetree names until it rebrands in mid-2024, and will continue to serve clients including Synchrony, Nationwide, CoverMyMeds, OhioHealth, Cardinal Health, Battelle, CareCredit, JobsOhio, Advanced Drainage Systems and Crown. Lunne wi l serve as president of the combined firm.
