The Cornerstone
8811 Career Drive, Piqua Date of inspection; March 4 Violations/comments: Corrected during inspection, critical repeat: Equipment food contact surfaces or utensils are unclean. Can opener had built up food debris. Once person in charge informed, can opener moved to dish area to be washed, rinsed and sanitized. Critical, ready to eat TCS foods not properly date marked. Once person in charge notified, food items were date marked for correct day.
Troy Marathon
959 N. Market St., Troy Date of inspection: March 4 Violations/comments: Facility does not have an employee with manager certification in food protection. Critical repeat: Employees not informed in a verifiable manner of their responsibility to report information about their health. Repeat: No written procedures for responding to vomiting or diarrheal events. Corrected during inspection, critical, TCS foods not being hot held at the proper temperature. At time of inspection, observed three pizzas being hold held at 120 degrees F. Once person in charge was notified, the pizzas were voluntarily discarded. No sanitizer test kit available. Repeat: Non-food contact surfaces of equipment are unclean. At time of inspection, equipment in the drink area was observed unclean with residue for drink splashes/spills.
Chaffee’s Brewhouse
15 S. Second St, Tipp City Date of inspection: Feb. 2 Violations/comments: Observed drain behind bar area with build up of grime. Ensure it is cleaned at a frequency to prevent build up.
Asian Cottage
761 W. Market St., Troy Date of inspection: Jan. 31, 2024: Corrected during inspection, repeat: Employee eating, drinking or using tobacco in non-designated area. Observed employee drinks and meals stored above food prep surfaces. Informed person in charge and employee drinks and food were in designated area. Critical repeat: Equipment , food contact surfaces or utensils unclean. No sanitizer test kit available. Non-food contact surfaces of equipment are unclean. Repeat: Plumbing system not properly maintained or repaired. Observed: insufficient air gap on prep sink, smell coming from grease drain, leaking three bay sink faucet.
