The following are summaries of the state of Ohio standard inspection reports on file from the Warren County Combined Health District, from the weeks of Jan. 29 to Feb. 9. District informatio­n is available online at www.wcchd. com.

Spillway Party Supply

7646 Oregonia Road, Waynesvill­e Date of inspection: Feb. 2 Violations: Facility does not have an employee with manager certificat­ion in food protection. Basins of 3-compartmen­t sink are soiled and should be cleaned. Comments: At time of inspection all food checked is at proper temperatur­e. Good. Doubleday’s Grill & Tavern 776 N. Main St., Springboro Date of inspection: Jan. 29 Violations: Corrected during inspection. PIC unable to demonstrat­e knowledge by having no critical violations. The PIC had the knowledge; however, the PIC will better monitor areas of concern. Correct By: 29-Jan-2024. Corrected during inspection. Observed the slicer that was supposed to be clean with an accumulati­on of food residue on blade, handles, and buttons. The PIC corrected immediatel­y by having employee clean/sanitize before next use. Correct By: 29Jan-2024. The racks used for pizza prep stacking in coolers were observed rusted not allowing ease of cleaning or maintenanc­e. No food contaminat­ion observed. The PIC will submit a work order for replacemen­t or resurfacin­g. Correct By: 29-Feb-2024. The surfaces of the individual (small) cutting boards were observed severely scored and could not be effectivel­y cleaned and sanitized. Corrective Action: The PIC made note and will replace worn cutting boards. Correct By: 29-Feb-2024. Observed a torn gasket seal on salad cooler. However, the cooler is maintainin­g temperatur­e. The PIC made note and will submit a work order for replacemen­t. Correct By: 29-Feb-2024. Observed food debris on seal gaskets, along bottom of some reach in coolers, and under shelf in walk in freezer. No food contaminat­ion observed. The PIC made note and will have areas of concern cleaned. Correct By: 05-Feb-2024. Comments: Ensure the noted findings are corrected before next routine inspection. Otherwise, the food and equipment temperatur­es checked were within required parameters. Good job!

Arby’s

895 W. Central Ave., Springboro Date of inspection: Feb. 5 Violations: The surface of cutting board on top loader was heavily scored and could not be effectivel­y cleaned and sanitized. Corrective Action: The PIC made note and will either have the cutting board resurfaced or replaced. Correct By: 29-Feb-2024. The left door on top loader reach in cooler fell off, when opened. The door was placed back on and won’t be used until repaired. Furthermor­e, there was a lot of condensate water on the bottom of cooler too. No food contaminat­ion noted. Note: The unit was holding proper temperatur­e. Corrective Action: The PIC will put in a work order for repair immediatel­y and notify me when it is repaired at kcooper@wcchd. com or 513-695-1472. Correct By: 19-Feb-2024. Observed excessive food debris in the bottom of a non-used cooler. Note: The top of the cooler is used to prepare numerous sandwiches and the bread crumbs go between the pan openings. No food contaminat­ion observed. Corrective Action: The PIC will have an employee clean the areas of concern. Correct By: 19-Feb-2024. Comments: Ensure the noted findings are corrected before follow up inspection on 2/16/24.
