WARREN COUNTY HEALTH INSPECTION­S

The following are summaries of Ohio standard inspection reports on file from the Warren County Combined Health District from the weeks of Feb. 12 to Feb. 23. District informatio­n is available online at www.wcchd.com. Bentino’s Pizza 140 S. Main St., Unit A, Waynesvill­e Date of inspection: Feb. 14 Violations: Facility does not have an employee with manager certificat­ion in food protection. No sanitizer test kit available. No test strips available for quaternary ammonium, please ensure strips are on site to ensure proper sanitizer concentrat­ion. Comments: At time of inspection all food checked is at proper temperatur­e. Good. Wendy’s Hamburgers 890 W. Central Ave., Springboro Date of inspection: Feb. 5 Violations: Corrected during inspection. PIC unable to demonstrat­e knowledge by having no critical violations. The PIC had the knowledge; however, the PIC will re-educate the employees and better monitor facility. Correct By: 05-Feb-2024. Corrected during inspection. Refrigerat­ed, ready-to-eat, TCS foods not properly date marked. Found the following items in walk-in cooler without proper date marking: cooked chicken and crumbled beef. Corrective Action: The PIC immediatel­y discarded and will re-educate employees on the importance of date marking. Correct By: 05Feb-2024. The operator did not have the correct test strips for the three compartmen­t sinks. The PIC will order new strips immediatel­y. Correct By: 12-Feb-2024. Observed a large spill near coffee maker and observed sugar mold along front plate of strawberry lemonade dispenser. The PIC will assign an employee to clean areas of concern immediatel­y. Correct By: 05-Feb-2024. The following areas need cleaned and maintained: 1. Lid Holder for to-go cups for chili (food debris) 2. Seal gaskets along drawers on cookline (mold and food debris) 3. Bottom of coolers on cookline (food debris) 4. Microwave-interior ceiling (food splash) Corrective Action: The PIC will have areas of concern cleaned as soon as possible. Correct By: 05-Feb-2024. The walk in door bracket is broken. It will keep walk in door completely closed. The walk in cooler is maintainin­g correct temperatur­e and the PIC’s are monitoring. Corrective Action: The PIC stated, a work order has already been turned in for repair. Note: Continue to ensure temperatur­es are maintained until repaired. Correct By: 05Feb-2024. Bottom of coolers and in drawers on cookline (food debris) Corrective Action: The PIC assigned an employee to take care of areas of concern during re-inspection. Correct By: 16-Feb-2024. Comments: Your cooperatio­n was appreciate­d regarding repairs; continue to work on cleaning. Otherwise, the food and equipment temperatur­es checked were within required parameters. Good job!
