Another bike event is the June 15 ride at North Park to honor Robert Stomel.

The city is partnering with Huffy and other organizations to honor longtime resident, Huffy employee and bicycle advocate Robert Stomel, with a memorial ride and expo on Saturday, June 15 at North Park. Stomel passed away in April 2023.

A founding member of BPAC and volunteer at Springboro bike events, he tuned bikes and fitted helmets.

The event will include a ride on the streets of Springboro, an expo following the ride and a fundraiser for Pancreatic Cancer Research.
