Students tour Veterans Memorial

PRESS RELEASE — Bryan Lineberry, Belmont High School U.S. History Teacher, will be taking several students that are interested in joining the military upon graduation, to the the Veterans National Memorial & Shrine/Vietnam Wall located at 2122 O’Day Rd, 5 May at 9:00 AM. While there, they will learn the rich history of the U.S. Military and the various conflicts that we have been in along with seeing first hand military artifacts. They will also visit the Vietnam Wall and locate names of Adams County Veterans who died in that war and and do a pencil transfer of their names. Bryan was instrumental in having Belmont HS named one of Indiana’s 2021 Purple Heart School.
