Firefighters summoned for oven fire

The Decatur Fire Department was dispatched at 7:46 p.m. Sunday to 933 Walnut Street in Decatur for a reported oven fire. Fire officials reported the fire was out upon their arrival but they used ventilation fans to help clear the house of smoke. Firefighters were back in service at 8:06 p.m.
