Justus appoints Davidson as ClerkTreasurer for the Town of Geneva
On Monday, May 9th, Adams County Republican Chairman Steve Justus filed the paper worked authorized by him under Indiana Code 3-13-115(b) or Indiana Code 3-13-8(b) by appointing Anthony ( Tony) Davidson to the position of Clerk Treasurer for the town of Geneva due to the resignation of John Buckingham who resigned effectively on Fri. May 6. Following the filing of Davidson’s appointment, Davidson was sworn into office by Adams County Clerk Jim Vogelwede at the Adams County Courthouse. Davison gave the following statement following being sworn into office. “I would like to start by thanking my wife Abigail for her support in making this decision easier in accepting this appointment. I would also like to thank Steve Justus and the Adams County Republican Party for the appointment of the Geneva
Clerk-Treasurer. I look forward to working with the current and future Geneva Town Council members as well as the town workforce. I would like to publicly thank John Buckingham for his service as the outgoing clerk-treasurer. Lastly, I look forward to working for the citizens of the town of Geneva.”
