Lisa Balliet
Lisa M. Balliet, 61, of Decatur, IN, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2022, at her residence. Lisa was born in Auburn, IN on September 24, 1960 to the late David and Lucille (Baker) Tumlinson. On February 15, 1990, she married Jim Balliet.
Lisa attended Pleasant Dale Church of the Brethren, where she loved her church family, and was also the church custodian for several years. She loved collecting owls and rocks, and spending time with her family. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Jim Balliet of Decatur; her children, April (Steve) Garner of Decatur, Erica ( Aaron Rasey) Unverzagt of Decatur, Stephanie (Ken) Reinhart of Convoy, OH, Stephen (Melissa) Balliet of Columbia City and Courtney (Jason Lykins) Balliet of Fort Wayne; siblings, Tim (Sheree) Tumlinson of Versailles, KY, Wally ( Nancy) Tumlinson of Jackson, MI, Bob ( Lynn Collins) Tumlinson of Middlepoint, OH and Mindy Tumlinson-Rathbun of Roanoke and best friend, Lori (Dan) Freund; 16 grandchildren; David, Alivia, Ethan, Wesyn Aaron Jr., Levi, Xander, Garret, Eliza, Jason Jr., Makyleigh, Ashton, Brody, Amarah, Vaugh and Cameron.
Visitation will be from Noon-4:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at Pleasant Dale Church of the Brethren.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 16, 2022 also at the church with calling 1 hour prior to services from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Pastor Jay Carter and Pastor Jonathan Crandall officiating.
Preferred memorials are to Operation Christmas Child, Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana and Pleasant Dale Church.
