Fire Department responds to gas leak

The Decatur Fire Department was called out at 7:28 p.m. Monday for a reported gas leak at 221 S. Fifth Street, Decatur, and they were finished with the incident at 7:57 p.m.

Fire officials said the gas leak occurred as a result of a gas line being cut into during some digging.
