BROWN GOES -2; BRAVES BEAT DEKALB

Bellmont recorded another NE8 victory on the par-33 Majorki course Tuesday, beating DeKalb by nine strokes.
Medalist honors went to Winston Brown, who finished at -2 with a 31. Brown started off his round with seven pars before making two circles on his card on the final two holes.
Ben Razo turned in a solid performance from the No. 4 spot after bogeying three of the first four holes, recording a +3 (36) with the help of a birdie on nine.
Ike Ruble shot 38 to beat his DeKalb opponent by a stroke and freshman Owen Minnick finished at +7 (40) to equal his Baron counterpart.
The win moved the Braves to 3-1 in the NE8 standings.
