Area police cite four drivers

Four drivers were ticketed for vehicular offenses by police in Adams County in the past two days.. The Decatur Police Department charged three of the drivers including Lance H. Shifferly, 28, Brandywine Lane, Decatur, for disregarding an official traffic control device in the 900 block of E. Monroe Street, Decatur, A. T. Lay, 31, Fort Wayne, for speeding 53 in a 35 zone on US 27, and Christian A. Morris, 25, N. 11th Street, Decatur, for failing to wear a seat belt as required. The Adams County Sheriff’s Department stopped Teresa H. Morgan, 28, Center Street, Berne, for speeding 70 in a 55 zone at US 27 and CR 200 S.
