Officer's discover damage to ball field
On Monday night, May 9th near the hour of midnight Decatur Officer’s discovered damage to the ball field in Kekionga Park. The person(s) responsible used a vehicle to do donuts on the infield as well as the majority of left field. If you have information on who may be responsible for these acts please contact a detective at 260-724-8646 or through Facebook messenger. DPD Detectives met with DEA agents this morning to drop off 42 boxes of unwanted meds that was collected over a period of time at the police station’s drop site mailbox. For the last several years, DPD has partnered with DEA’s “National Prescription Drug Take Back Day” to show our commitment to our community’s safety and health, encouraging the public to remove unneeded medications from their homes as a measure of preventing medication misuse and opioid addiction from ever starting.
