Thanks to Donors, the Christian school has room to blossom

-

Three Oaks Christian School in Decatur, Ind., was running out of room. Enrollment jumped 70% for the 2021-2022 school year. Though the empty Southeast Elementary school building in Decatur was available for purchase, Three Oaks Christian School lacked the funds.

Sacrificial supporters leaped forward to supply funding for the larger space. They gave $75,000 in 45 days– enough for Three Oaks Christian School to make the down payment on Southeast this April. A second branch of donors loaned the remaining amount needed to buy the property. Thanks to this double-flower answer to prayer, the school will sprout into its fifth year firmly planted to serve current Pre-K-12 students and their families– and to grow with new ones–from Adams, Allen, Wells, Mercer, and Van Wert counties.

The school marches on in its capital fundraising campaign with two goals in mind: to repay the generous lenders quickly and to continue offering an affordable Christian classical education. As one of the more than 300 members of the Association of Christian Classical Schools, Three Oaks Christian School grafted onto a movement to provide an education rooted in excellence and a biblical worldview.

“God has been so faithful in opening this door for us,” Head of School Darren Kloepper said in a meeting to staff and parents. “We have reason to celebrate because we trust God will continue doing great things with our growing community in this new building.“
