Adams Central Soils Team
competed in National Land Judging Contest in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on May 1st-6th. Close to 900 students from across the US came to compete. Students judge the soils for properties to determine if the soils is acceptable to put a Home or use for Crop use. The students compete in Land division and Homesite division. The Adams Central team placed 6th with Faith Zuercher and Mary Jones tying for 10th and 11th with Faith winning the tie breaker. Nick Beckner placed 22nd, and Maggie Bluhm was 28th. In the Land Division, Nick finished 31, Faith 12th, Maggie 10th and Mary 8th overall. The team was 2nd in the Homesite division.
