Stones hit, crack windshield

The Adams County Sheriff’s Department investigated an accident at 11:18 a.m. Wednesday on SR 101.

Police said a highway department dump truck driven by Seth A. Isch, 43, rural Decatur, was southbound on SR 101 and passed a northbound pick-up truck operated by William F. Wilson, 47, Lamesa, Texas, Isch reported hitting a bump in the road which caused some loose stone in his truck to fall out. Wilson told officers the stone struck and cracked the windshield of his truck as the vehicles went past each other. Under $1,001 in damage was done to the pick-up truck in the incident.
