Bluffton still searching for missing woman
It has been nearly two weeks since the Bluffton Police Department initially announced that Celeste Cuthbert was reported missing. Cuthbert stands about five feet and five inches tall, is approximately 147 pounds, and is 48 years old. She was last seen on New Year’s Day at 4:45 p.m. and the Bluffton PD reported that she is believed to be in danger and is possibly in need of medical attention.
A Silver Alert was issued the same day as the Bluffton PD announcement notifying communities across the state about her disappearance.
Cuthbert reportedly lives 45 minutes north of Bluffton in Fort Wayne. Her twin sister, Celene Wright Molake organized a gofundme page with a goal of raising $5,000 to aid in her search. They have already received $3,945 from a total of 66 different donors. It is noted that the money will go towards flyers, gas for the family to use when searching, posters, and lawn signs.
“Celeste’s significant other, family and friends are desperately in search of their loved one. Celeste is so much fun and full of life,” states Wright Molake on the page. “Most who know Celeste know that she is very close to her family, and definitely not the type to leave and not contact them. Her mother, twin sister and big brother just want to know Celeste is healthy and safe, along with the rest of her family.”
While it was originally reported that Cuthbert was last seen wearing an orange Spyder pullover, Adidas shoes and black sweatpants, this report has since been updated along with a release of a photo depicting her in a black jacket and a gray sweatshirt noting that this was the actual clothing she was last seen wearing.
