Sectional Final Swim Notes

-The AC medley relay team of Logan Clark, Jackson Shoaf, Owen Connelley and Reece Moser set a season best to take fourth place in the event.

-South Adams’ medley team of Dulce Sabio, Brayden Hough, Ian Neuenschwa­nder and Haden Meyer cut four seconds off their time from Thursday and set another season best to finish in tenth place.

-Austin Shifferly won the B final with a season best of 2:03.98 in the 200 Free.

-Oliver Werling already held the fastest IM time in the county with his performanc­e from Thursday’s prelims but he lowered it again in the A Final, finishing in 2:20.11.

-Connelley was just a fraction slower than Werling with a PR to win the B Final.

-Noah Short finished .37 seconds behind Michael Reidenbach in second place for the 50 Free with a PR in his final race.

-Mason Mankey won the diving with ease, finishing with 525.30 points, while Damon Light finished a point above the cut line for advancing to today’s regional. Light was fourth with 311.25.

-Ian Neuenschwa­nder finished 15th in the butterfly with a season-best time of 1:05.30.

-Logan Clark of Adams Central set a season-best mark and took fourth in the backstroke, finishing in 1:01.67.

-Teammate Austin Shifferly also set his best mark of the season and was three places behind his teammate in 1:05.28.

-Bellmont freshman Oliver Werling swam his best 100 Breast of the year and finished fourth in the B final.

-Adams Central held their finish from Thursday in the 400 relay and cut four seconds off their seasonbest time to stay ahead of Huntington North, finishing in third behind Norwell and Delta.
