Drivers receive citations

Local and county police issued tickets to eight area drivers in recent days for vehicular infractions.

Stopped by the Adams County Sheriff’s Department were: John I. Goodson, 81, Pendleton, for speeding 40 in a 30 zone on W. Washington Street in Monroe; Brian L. Smith, 38, Fort Wayne, for driving while suspended at SR 124 and CR 600 W; Lauren J. Grube, 24, rural Decatur, operating a motor vehicle without a license or permit; Hutchenson M. Craighead, 17, Bluffton, for speeding 45 in a 30 zone at SR 124 and Tower Drive in Monroe; Blake N. Gabbard, 23, Winchester, for speeding 69 in a 55 at US 27 and CR 100 S; and Noah M. Sipe, 21, New Haven, for speeding 71 in a 55 zone at US 27 near CR 200 S.

Ticketed by the Decatur Police Department included: Michael L. Sills, 32, N. 17th Street, Decatur, for operating a motor vehicle without a registration and for operating a motor vehicle with an expired license plate; and Courtney M. Juengel, 18, rural Decatur, for speeding 57 in a 30 zone in the 1500 west block of Washington Street, Decatur.
