break.

It was all Blackhawk in the third period and that was never demonstrated better than in the final five seconds of the quarter, where Josh Furst rebounded his own miss, went back up strong to the basket, was fouled, and completed the old-fashioned three-point play to give his team a 44-21 lead with his 15th point of the game.

The only points of the third quarter for SA came on a three by Gavin Myers.

Formalities took up most of the fourth quarter as Krieg used the final moments of his season to make sure that all of the young men on his roster made an appearance in the postseason. The coach kept freshman Ty Lehman in the game, however, in a signal that he is the future of this Starfire program. Lehman finished the game with a share of the team lead in points with Myers with eight points.

Brady Beall finished with seven points for South Adams

For Blackhawk it was Furst with 17, while Pickett, Davidson and Sefton all had ten points.

Manchester won the early game in a blowout over Bluffton, 92-54. The Squires will meet Blackhawk Friday night.
