Linda S. Bienz, 76, of Sebring, FL, formerly of Decatur, IN, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at her residence. She was born in Decatur, IN, on August 22, 1947, the daughter of the late Donald and Genevieve (Rice) Reidenbach.

Linda attended Zion Lutheran Church and was selfemploy­ed as a beautician. She was also the owner of The Golden Clipper Salon in Decatur.

Linda had a love of music which started at an early age, where she played drums in a band for many years, and recorded a record which included the songs, Adams County Disco Train and I Believe. Her passion for music continued as she taught country line dancing, and choreograp­hed competitiv­e dance teams.

For the last six years of her life, she moved to Sebring, FL., and enjoyed spending time with her sister, Donna, brother-in-law, Bill, their dog, Murphy, dear friends, and family when they came to visit. Linda loved to host parties, where they enjoyed her famous lasagna and strawberry pies.

She had a deep love for her family and she will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her 2 sons, David (Lynette) Drysdale and Michael “Mick” (Kelly) Drysdale of Decatur, IN; a brother, Michael (Darlene) Reidenbach of Bluffton, IN; 2 sisters, Donna (William) Strang of Sebring, FL and Patti (Douglas) Rambo of Sun City, AZ; 3 grandchild­ren, Garrett, Collin & London Drysdale; several nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her granddaugh­ter, Michaela.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Haggard-Hirschy & Zelt Funeral Home, followed by a 1:00 p.m. funeral service. Pastor Zach Oedewaldt will be officiatin­g. Burial will follow in Decatur Cemetery.
