Police arrest six

The Adams County Law Enforcemen­t and Detention Center booked in six persons over the weekend arrested by three different police agencies.

Detained by the Adams County Sheriff’s Department were:

Treighton C. Mendenhall, 28, Union City, on a warrant Friday for violation of home detention. He is being held in custody without bond.

Jody A. Taylor, 42, rural Decatur, on a warrant Friday for violation of home detention. She is being held without bond.

Latasha E. Govan, 37, Fort Wayne, on Saturday for operating a vehicle while intoxicate­d, endangerin­g a person while operating a vehicle intoxicate­d, and for driving left of center at Winchester Road and CR 300 W. Her bond for release was set at $400 cash and $3,500 surety.

Joseph L. Shetler, 21, rural Monroe, on Saturday for operating a vehicle while intoxicate­d with an alcohol content of .15 or more and endangerin­g a person while operating a vehicle intoxicate­d. His bond was placed at $400 cash and $4,000 surety after serving an 11-hour burn-off period in jail.

Shelby A. Coop, 28, Yorktown Road, Decatur, was charged Saturday by the Decatur Police Department for driving while suspended, operating a vehicle while intoxicate­d, and endangerin­g a person while driving intoxicate­d. She had to serve a 24-hour burn-off period in jail and then had bond establishe­d at $400 cash and $3,000 surety.

Jesus E. P. Mendez, 20, Portland, was arrested Saturday by the Indiana State Police for operating a vehicle without ever receiving a license. Bond was set at $200 cash and $1,500 surety.
