Charles Frederick (Chuck) Wilkins, 83, passed away on September 13, 2021 at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital, Vero Beach, Florida. He was born in Detroit, Michigan, to Mildred Ginther Wilkins and Charles L Wilkins. The family relocated to Jonesville, Michigan when Chuck was young. He was a

graduate of Jonesville High School.

Chuck graduated from Eastern Michigan University in the Spring of 1960 with a degree in Mathematic­s. That year, he joined Ford Motor Company, where over his career he held management positions in transporta­tion divisions,

including in Brussels for Ford Internatio­nal Group and in London for Ford of Europe. He retired in 1995 as Ford’s

Director of Traffic and Customs Worldwide. He then worked as a logistics consultant and as a board member for P.A.M. Transporta­tion Services.

Chuck was married to Ann “Ginger” (nee England) Vance on September 18, 1999. After living in Fredericks­burg, Virginia, they moved in 2003 to Sebastian, Florida. They were members of First Methodist Church in nearby Vero Beach, where he served on the usher team. He was

married twice before: to Carol J. Skurski of Detroit in 1965, and in 1969 to Gayle Sigman of Jonesville, with whom he had his daughter, Pamela. The latter two marriages ended in divorce.

His interests included travel (particular­ly cruising) and reading mystery novels and biographie­s. He was an astute

high-fidelity music systems specialist and enjoyed all sorts of music. He also had an avid interest in automobile­s.

Chuck is predecease­d by his parents and his brothers, Thomas G. Wilkins and James E. Wilkins. He is survived by his devoted wife Ginger; daughter Pamela C. Stewart-Fulton (Matthew Stewart-Fulton) of Ann Arbor, Michigan;

stepson Scott Vance (Domenica Marchetti) of Alexandria, Virginia; stepson Darren Vance (John Paul) of Waldorf,

Maryland; step-grandchild­ren Nicholas Vance, Adriana Vance and Alexander Paul.

A memorial service for Chuck will be held at a later date in Jonesville, Michigan.
