2025 Lincoln Aviator offers more tech to create ‘luxurious space’

The latest refresh of the Lincoln Aviator luxury three-row SUV will have an updated exterior grille, headlamps, technology and 13 features at no extra cost, the brand announced in a news release Monday.

Standard content for the 2025 Aviator, described by the automaker as a connected “sanctuary,” will include:

BlueCruise hands-free highway driving for four years.

Big screens: a 13.2-inch touch screen over the center stack and a 12.4-inch digital cluster screen.

Auto air refresh.

Panoramic vista roof.

Power, heated steering wheel.

Heated, ventilated first-row seats. Wireless phone charging.

Phone as a key.

20-inch wheels.

Adaptive suspension.

Class III trailer tow package that can pull up to 8,000 pounds.

Lincoln connected service for one year. Lincoln Co-Pilot360 that includes features such as evasive steering assist, lanekeepin­g and blind spot informatio­n.

The new Lincoln Aviator, built at the Chicago Assembly Plant, starts at $58,495 plus $1,395 in destinatio­n and delivery fees. The

order bank opened Monday. Delivery to dealers is scheduled for this summer.

In addition to the standard perks, Lincoln is offering a premium subscripti­on to access 5G wireless technology that would provide customers the option to activate a Wi-Fi hot spot.

The Aviator is rear-wheel drive, with fourwheel drive available and comes standard with a twin-turbocharg­ed 30-liter V6 engine, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmissi­on that delivers 400 horsepower and 415 pound-feet of torque for fast and smooth accelerati­on, Lincoln said in its news release.

Since being introduced in 2019, Lincoln points out, the vehicle has a conquest rate of nearly 70%, the most of any Lincoln vehicle to attract owners of other vehicles to buy the model, a data point that’s tracked carefully in the industry.

“With the new Aviator, technology takes an even larger role in helping create a relaxing, luxurious space,” Heidi Shaffer, Lincoln director, said in the news release. “We are creating a new, digital sanctuary on the road.”

Lincoln is focused on use of voice, offering Google assistant as the default to do things such as set in-vehicle temperatur­e, find and set destinatio­ns, request a specific broadcast or radio station, make calls, send texts, set a meeting and control connected home devices. Google maps is integrated into the system, and displayed on both the touch screen and digital cluster screen. Streaming music, books and podcasts are also possible.

Aviator Premiere is the most basic offering.

Aviator Reserve with interiors in Onyx, Light Space Gray,

Harvest Bronze with Onyx accents and Hot Chocolate with Onyx accents. Comes with an illuminate­d Lincoln star on the grille and other light features.

Aviator Black Label in colors that now include Cenote Green and Whisper Blue Metallic. Options include an “invitation theme” with Black Onyx leather seating with open-pore Khaya wood across the instrument panel and center console top panel finish, and dual laser-etched shapes. Also comes with an illuminate­d Lincoln star on the grille and other light features.

Audio options include a 28-speaker system, 30-way positionin­g front seats and sound control in the second row.

While launching new products, Ford said it is reducing the number of its Lincoln dealership­s with buyouts in an effort to make them more luxurious and personal.
