drive it anymore, so I could go full race truck with my build.” After saving up his nickels and dimes for a couple of years it was time for the full fiberglass and Lexan treatment. All four doors, the custom front end, and rear bedsides are all GTS fiberglass parts. They’re also removable for maintenance purposes, and to switch the truck from pulling to drag trim and back. The interior is long gone and was replaced with a single Kirkey racing seat and PRP seatbelts. A host of autometer gauges made their way into the truck, as keeping an eye on the powertrain was still vital. Kenny even went as far as to make a tubular rear frame for the Ram out of .083 wall 1 5/8-inch chromoly tubing that’s both light and strong. The fruits of his labor came when the truck crossed the scales at 5,250 pounds-incredibly light for a 4x4 diesel.

?? ?? Rather than run his nitrous in multiple stages, Kenny runs a huge single solenoid and uses a Nitrous Express Maximizer progressive controller to ramp in the power. So far a single .085-inch jet on a slow ramp has picked up 3 tenths and a whopping 7 mph!

?? ?? On the fuel delivery side of things, Kenny has enough lift pump for more than 2,000 hp! A Waterman lift pump rated in gallons-per-minute is attached to a D&J Precision Machine front cover and draws fuel from a tiny aluminum fuel cell mounted in the engine bay.

?? ?? Kenny fabricated the turbo system himself, which positions the large 91mm/111mm/1.15 A/R atmospheric turbo out front. The smaller 76mm/87mm/1.10 Borgwarner is mounted on a Steed Speed manifold. Both combine to produce an efficient 80psi of boost.

?? ?? Kenny’s Dodge has an engine you could eat off of. The Cummins is painted the same Sunrise Orange as the rest of the truck, and also features such niceties as a Bean’s Diesel valve cover and Banks side-draft intake.
