Groveland Yosemite Gateway Museum

The museum is located in Groveland, right on State
Highway 120, a major gateway and the Northern Scenic Highway into Yosemite National Park. It has a large parking lot suitable for bus,
RV and handicapped parking. The museum is fully
ADA compliant with excellent accessibility. It is open daily, free of charge to all visitors. Please call or check

The museum features exhibits on local pioneer families, mining and lumbering and natural history. Within
the museum is a small theater which shows videos of
local interest, Native American topics, gold rush history, and Yosemite National Park. The museum also offers a
self-guided history walk for downtown Groveland including narratives of the character, history and significance
of its numerous historic sturctures.
