HIT THE BENCHMARK
Knight transformed a salvaged Arts and Crafts-era light diffuser panel into a functional bench that’s a handy spot for kicking off shoes, right and opposite. He built a frame of reclaimed barnwood around the panel, then placed it atop a pair of concrete pillars. The pillars are made using 5-gallon buckets and the same moldable concrete technique as the pendant light. He also cast a pair of planters using concrete countertop mix and stainless-steel bowls.
