Bleach Denim Pillow

Do It Yourself - - ORDER IN THE HOUSE -

Jazz up denim by adding a bleached pattern over the dark fabric. Purchase a denim pillow (or craft your own using denim fabric or by recycling old denim clothing) and remove pillow form. Insert a layer of plastic to keep bleach from soaking through. Generously spray the back of a stencil with stencil adhesive and press to front of fabric. Fill a spray bottle with a 1:1 ratio of bleach and water. Spray bleach solution over the stencil to soak fabric. Dab stencil dry with a paper towel, then place fabric in the sun to dry if possible. When desired color is reached, remove stencil and rinse fabric in cold water. Hand-stitch or use fabric glue to attach decorative fringe around the edges of the pillow.
