UM Extension welcomes new Mid-Shore Area Director
CAMBRIDGE — Robert S. Baldwin has joined the University of Maryland Extension as Mid-Shore Area Extension director in Caroline, Talbot and Dorchester counties.
Baldwin has over 30 years of experience working with Natural Resource Conservation Programs in both Maryland and Delaware.
He is a graduate of Kent County High School, and he earned a Bachelor of Science in wildlife resources and a Bachelor of Science in agriculture from West Virginia University. He also has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Delaware.
Baldwin has worked in both technical and administrative positions for Maryland Forest Service, Maryland Department of Agriculture and Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control.
He also has served as president, vice president, secretary and regional director of the National Association of State Conservation
Baldwin’s interests are varied and many. He is an avid outdoors person, including having been a crew member on numerous wildland fire crews working in the western U.S. and Alaska. Baldwin is also a University of Maryland Extension 4-H volunteer
Agencies. and serves on the board of directors of Del-One Federal Credit Union.
