St. Paddy’s Day tea set for March 17
CAMBRIDGE — The Dorchester County Historical Society will be hosting its third St. Paddy’s Day Tea on Saturday, March 17, from noon to 2 p.m. in the Meredith House, ca. 1760. Reservations are required as space is limited. The cost is $30 for DCHS members, $35 for those who are not.
The Meredith House will be transformed into Wooley’s Pub and guests will be served accordingly. Costumed docents will serve a full tea, complete with Irish favorites including savories and decadent sweets. In addition, prepare to be entertained by the pub wenches and possibly a leprechaun. An Irish sing along always hits the right note.
The Meredith House is located at 1003 Greenway Drive in Cambridge and there is plenty of parking. Visitors will also enjoy a tour of the other historic buildings on the property. Reservations may be made by calling 410-228-7953 or email email@example.com.
