Ro­tary Club in­ducts two, hon­ors mem­ber

CAM­BRIDGE — The Cam­bridge Ro­tary Club added two new mem­bers to the club and hon­ored a mem­ber with a Life­time Achieve­ment Award at the group’s re­cent meet­ing.

Va­sude­van re­ceived the Cam­bridge Ro­tary Club Life­time Achieve­ment Award, which is pre­sented to club mem­bers who, not only have been in the club for a num­ber of years, but who have made a dif­fer­ence to the club’s suc­cess.

Va­sude­van was in­stru­men­tal in pro­vid­ing a bus and an am­bu­lance to his home coun­try of In­dia. It was achieved through joint mon­eys pro­vided by the Ro­tary Club of Cam­bridge and a club in In­dia.

The club also in­ducted Capt. Kristy Nikanza of the Sal­va­tion Army and Chelsea John­son of the United Way into the or­ga­ni­za­tion.

Nikanza was spon­sored by Ro­tar­ian Allen Nel­son who, also, serves on the Board for the lo­cal Sal­va­tion Army.

John­son was spon­sored by Ro­tar­ian Bill Christo­pher.
