Baywater invites potential volunteers to Spring Open House
CAMBRIDGE — Baywater Animal Rescue is hosting a Spring Volunteer Open House, an opportunity to come out to the shelter to experience a Day In The Life of a Baywater Animal Rescue Volunteer.
On Saturday, April 28, everyone is welcome to take a tour of the shelter, meet the staff and current volunteers, and best of all, spend time with the dogs and cats currently under Baywater’s care.
include cat cuddling and playing, dog walking and playing, front desk/administrative duties, maintenance, transport, marketing/social media, event participation and fundraising.
Information will be provided about how to volunteer for Baywater Animal Rescue’s foster home program. Foster homes provide relief from the stress of shelter life and increase the number of animals that can be rescued. Meet with current foster families and learn about the joy of helping an animal in need.
“Our volunteers are the best,” said Jayme Schatz, Operations Manager at Baywater. “Their dedication to creating more happy endings for the animals is humbling. We couldn’t save as many animals as we do without our volunteers. Go #TeamBaywater!”
Light refreshments will be served. RSVP’s are appreciated but not required. Register to the “Spring Volunteer Open House” event on Baywater Animal Rescue’s Facebook page or by calling the shelter at 410-228-3090.
