GE­OR­GIA — Dorothy Lee Parks, 76, of Cony­ers, Ge­or­gia, died Mon­day, Oc­to­ber 1, 2018. She joins her fa­ther, As­bury; mother, Ros­alie; two broth­ers: Cur­tis and As­bury Parks; and sis­ter, Bar­bara Jean.

She is sur­vived by her hus­band of five years. Ge­orge Gray Sr.. of Cony­ers, Ge­or­gia; sis­ter, Peggy Ste­wart, of Seaford, DE; and brother, Gene Parks, of Hur­lock, MD. She will be missed by her son, Michael Dean Lockard and his wife El­lie, of Reis­ter­stown, MD; daugh­ter, Dawn An­der­son and her hus­band Robert, of Cony­ers; and grand­chil­dren: Dei­dre, Trin­ity and Jor­dan An­der­son.

A memo­rial ser­vice will be held Fri­day, Novem­ber 2, 2 p.m. at United Peo­ples Church, 746 Race Street, Cam­bridge, MD.

In lieu of flow­ers, you are wel­come to make a do­na­tion to the church in Dorothy’s name.

Dorothy was born and raised in Win­gate, MD, grad­u­ated from South Dorch­ester High School in 1960, and lived all around the state dur­ing her life­time. She spent 20 years in Princess Anne, MD, not a far trip for her son and his wife to come visit reg­u­larly. In that time, she touched the lives of many lov­ing friends from her com­mu­nity and her church, Walker Memo­rial Church of God. She moved to Cony­ers about a year ago and was able to spend qual­ity time with her daugh­ter and grand­chil­dren.
