Dorothy Lee Parks
GEORGIA — Dorothy Lee Parks, 76, of Conyers, Georgia, died Monday, October 1, 2018. She joins her father, Asbury; mother, Rosalie; two brothers: Curtis and Asbury Parks; and sister, Barbara Jean.
She is survived by her husband of five years. George Gray Sr.. of Conyers, Georgia; sister, Peggy Stewart, of Seaford, DE; and brother, Gene Parks, of Hurlock, MD. She will be missed by her son, Michael Dean Lockard and his wife Ellie, of Reisterstown, MD; daughter, Dawn Anderson and her husband Robert, of Conyers; and grandchildren: Deidre, Trinity and Jordan Anderson.
A memorial service will be held Friday, November 2, 2 p.m. at United Peoples Church, 746 Race Street, Cambridge, MD.
In lieu of flowers, you are welcome to make a donation to the church in Dorothy’s name.
Dorothy was born and raised in Wingate, MD, graduated from South Dorchester High School in 1960, and lived all around the state during her lifetime. She spent 20 years in Princess Anne, MD, not a far trip for her son and his wife to come visit regularly. In that time, she touched the lives of many loving friends from her community and her church, Walker Memorial Church of God. She moved to Conyers about a year ago and was able to spend quality time with her daughter and grandchildren.
