Cambridge police investigating armed robberies
CAMBRIDGE — Cambridge police are investigating two armed robberies that occurred Wednesday, Nov. 7.
According to a news release, officers responded to the 700 block of Glasgow Street at about 8:30 p.m.
Police said they were told a thin African-American male, 5 foot 9 inches to 5 foot 10 inches tall and wearing a dark blue or black hoodie and a mask, approached the alleged victim with a handgun as the alleged victim and a witness were vehicles.
Police said the robber pushed the alleged victim, grabbed property they were carrying and fled on foot.
A second robbery was reported
their shortly after in the 400 block of Linden Avenue. Police said one of three juveniles in the area approached the alleged victim in this case, pulled out a handgun and said, “Give me your money.” The alleged victim handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and the robber fled on foot, police said.
