Cam­bridge po­lice in­ves­ti­gat­ing armed rob­beries

CAM­BRIDGE — Cam­bridge po­lice are in­ves­ti­gat­ing two armed rob­beries that oc­curred Wed­nes­day, Nov. 7.

Ac­cord­ing to a news re­lease, of­fi­cers re­sponded to the 700 block of Glas­gow Street at about 8:30 p.m.

Po­lice said they were told a thin African-Amer­i­can male, 5 foot 9 inches to 5 foot 10 inches tall and wear­ing a dark blue or black hoodie and a mask, ap­proached the al­leged vic­tim with a hand­gun as the al­leged vic­tim and a wit­ness were ve­hi­cles.

Po­lice said the rob­ber pushed the al­leged vic­tim, grabbed prop­erty they were car­ry­ing and fled on foot.

A sec­ond rob­bery was re­ported

walk­ing to­ward

their shortly af­ter in the 400 block of Lin­den Av­enue. Po­lice said one of three ju­ve­niles in the area ap­proached the al­leged vic­tim in this case, pulled out a hand­gun and said, “Give me your money.” The al­leged vic­tim handed over an undis­closed amount of cash and the rob­ber fled on foot, po­lice said.
