Haley’s Comet Brett T. Brown

DREAM TEEN Magazine - - Content - By Tarran Carter

Writing has always been a part of Brett Brown. At four years old, he was rambunctious--animated, and would write down all of his offenses. I asked him who inspired him, He said his mom. She encouraged him to write. Although he has never been drawn to sports or TV, writing became everything to him. Brett is the author of Harley’s Comet.

Brett is a leader, he refers to the time his family relocated to Cleveland Ohio. “These were difficult years,“he said. However, he did not succumb to the onslaughts of drugs or the streets of Cleveland Ohio. In these arduous years, his outlet was writing. Brett says that life will always throw you a curve ball; no matter what you do in life, be yourself. Never let anyone tell you that you are not good. His mantra is,“Take it in stride.” No matter how bad the situation may appear, take it in stride.

It took courage and tenacity to complete the book. Two years later it was published. Barnes and Nobles, a leading book store, now has his book for sale. Brett markets his book through social media, and local businesses has featured him for book signing. He has even been on Fox News.
