aking a New Year’s res­o­lu­tion is easy and a common thing to do. Not stick­ing with your res­o­lu­tion is easy and also a common thing to do. Stu­dents unite and de­clare this year will be dif­fer­ent! Let’s greet 2015 with op­ti­mism, en­thu­si­asm and great ex­pec­ta­tion. Plan to be at your best for 2015 and years to come. Use this list of 10 common stu­dent res­o­lu­tions to help you have a spec­tac­u­lar 2015! Re­view What Is Im­por­tant To You. Re­view your to-do list, pri­or­i­ties, re­sources and time to bet­ter re­flect what means most to you. Im­prove Your Grades. Know your learn­ing style and seek help in ar­eas where help is needed. At­tend work­shops, join a study group and re­search study tips that will help you im­prove your grades and grow as a stu­dent. Clean Up And Get Or­ga­nized. Re­move the clut­ter in your life. Do­nate, give, or throw away items that are of no use. When you have a clut­ter free workspace (men­tal and phys­i­cal), you free and clear your mind. Be Health Con­scious. Get mov­ing! Join a gym that fits your bud­get or sim­ply work-out at home or out­side. Make healthy food choices. Get More Sleep. A well-rested mind is al­ways alert and ready to learn. Good stu­dents know that a good­night’s sleep is very im­por­tant. Find Bal­ance. Don’t for­get to have fun! If you stay or­ga­nized, you will have time to study hard, work, ex­er­cise and have fun. You can do it! Set Re­al­is­tic Goals. Write down three to five mea­sur­able and achiev­able goals. Be spe­cific and stretch your­self a bit. Keep a pos­i­tive mind and stay mo­ti­vated. Fi­nan­cial Plan­ning. Cre­ate a rea­son­able monthly bud­get that works for you and stick to it. Ap­ply for schol­ar­ships and other awards that can help pay for all as­pects of your ed­u­ca­tion. Take ad­van­tage of coupons and sav­ings for food, cloth­ing and en­ter­tain­ment. Be sure to put money aside for emer­gen­cies. Vol­un­teer. Vol­un­teer­ing is a win, win! Help your com­mu­nity and build your re­sume while do­ing so. Seek op­por­tu­ni­ties to help oth­ers; you will be glad you did! Be Kind to You!
