Iit’s been a grand summer. We have a new member to our family, Joel Evans, born this May. What a joy we are experiencing as grandparents to three healthy boys. We have decreed they are not mediocre; their DNA is brilliance, with a promise of aristocratic privileges.

DREAM TEEN Magazine is also publishing again with new ideas, vision and purpose. Teens and tweens are our passion; we are purposed to fulfil this dream. Our youth need much encouragement as they deal with everyday life.

Although more and more teens are matriculating to college and young adults are reaching the pinnacles of academia, there are other struggles that they are striving to over come.

Trusting in God, gives us that peace that surpasses all understanding. It lifts us above the obstacles that prevent unhealthy decisions and reactions. I am always reminded of prayer and how powerful it is. It is the key to success and a component for a tenacious drive, that will propel you to succeed in whatever it is that you desire.

The power of prayer has afforded me a plethora of testimonies, of how God answered prayers and did the unexplainable.

My Journals are full of prayer requests and God’s retuned favor. Reading them helps with the next trial or obstacle.

We are half way into the year and just around the corner from the holiday season. My goal is to wrap up this summer with joy and reminders of every blessing this summer and 2018 has brought thus far.

What will your summer wrap up be? Think on the goodness of God and all that He has done, and you will smile as you move forward in your career, dreams and goals.
