Ex-Warrior to join Kings, according to ESPN report

Former Warrior Juan Toscano-Anderson is joining the Sacramento Kings on a one-year contract, per ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowsk­i.

Toscano-Anderson, 30, most recently played for the Mexico City Capitanes in the G League, where he played 11 games this season. The Oakland native helped the Warriors win their most recent NBA title, in 2022.

Toscano-Anderson spent the first three years of his NBA career with the Warriors. He debuted as a 26-year-old rookie, initially earning a shot by impressing at a Santa Cruz Warriors tryout after beginning his profession­al career in Mexico.

Toscano-Anderson signed with the Lakers before the 2022-23 season after winning the title with Golden State and was traded to Utah in the Russell Westbrook-D'Angelo Russell trade at the deadline. He has averaged 4.3 points and 3.1 rebounds per game in his career.

FLACCO SIGNS >> Joe Flacco got a one-year, $4.05 million contract — loaded with incentives — from the Cleveland Browns, who brought in the veteran quarterbac­k last month while in emergency mode after losing starter Deshaun Watson for the season with a right shoulder injury.

Flacco's deal means the 38-year-old moves from the practice squad to the active roster. The team elevated Flacco from the practice squad in each of the past two weeks to start games against the Los Angeles Rams and Jacksonvil­le. Judd, 24, was selected in the 2021 MLS SuperDraft by the Galaxy and signed a first-team contract with the club on April 4, 2022. After earning his MLS debut at the beginning of the 2023 season, he went on to score three goals in six starts (17 appearance­s).

SJSU MATCHUPS ANNOUNCED >> The Mountain West Conference announced its 2024 football matchups Thursday and San Jose State will play seven conference games and one game against Oregon State along with their previously announced nonconfere­nce schedule. With the seven conference games, four will be played at CEFCU Stadium and three will be on the road. It will be the first time the Spartans have had seven home games since the 2006 season.

The Spartans' home conference games will come against Boise State, Nevada, UNLV and Wyoming and will travel to play Air Force, Colorado State, and Fresno State. Their road game against Oregon State will not count towards their conference record.

SJSU's non-conference schedule features home games against Sacramento State (Aug. 31), Kennesaw State (Sept. 14) and Stanford (Nov. 30) and a road game against Washington State (Sept. 21).
