• The Knights of Columbus will hold a full traditiona­l Irish Breakfast at the Council Hall, 1265 Tower Hill Road, North Kingstown, on Sunday, March 10th, from 7:30 to 10:30. Scrambled Eggs, Irish Bangers, Toast, Home Fries, Baked Beans, Corned Beef Hash, Grilled Tomatoes, Irish Soda Bread, Orange Juice, Coffee and Tea will be served. The cost is $12.00, children 6 and under are free. • The Church Family

Life committee at Peace Dale Congregati­onal Church will present a series of discussion sessions focused on how you can take control of the various aspects of your life in retirement. The sessions will explore four issues associated with the manageable events of that stage: Financial; Health; Living Environmen­t; End of Life and Spiritual. There will be one session approximat­ely every other week.

Jim Blackerby, Certified Financial Planner Emeritus, will present, “8,000 Days for Managing Retirement,” Wednesday, March 13th at 6:30 p.m. at Peace Dale Congregati­onal Church, 261 Columbia St., Wakefield, RI.

You are welcome to a delicious meal served in a comfortabl­e dining environmen­t. Everyone is invited. The event will be held on Tuesday February 27, 2024 from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM at St. Andrew Lutheran Church on 15 East Beach Road in Charlestow­n. It will be a hot delicious meal free of charge. Donations are accepted. The group that will be serving this month will be Charlestow­n Police Department with the food coming from Meadowbroo­k. The menu will be Chicken, vegetable and potato dish The Family Supper Table is held the last Tuesday of each month except December and July. • The East Greenwich Art Club will meet on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, from 7-9 pm, at United Methodist Church, 1558 South County Trail, East Greenwich, RI. It is free and open to the public. Local, award winning artist, Don Mong, will give a presentati­on “Tea Bag Art”. In 1904, tea bags were invented in the U.S.A. Since then, tea bags have been part of our daily life. When you are finished with a cup of tea, most tea bags go into the trash. In today’s environmen­tally conscious world, used tea bags can be recycled to create art pieces. They can open up to become a great small canvas. Mong will display some of his pieces and help participan­ts create unique gifts from a bag. The bags can be mounted on note or greeting card stock. They can depict any kind of design using watercolor­s or acrylic paint. Refreshmen­ts will be served. • The North Kingstown Women’s Club
