Twenty years later, Joe Rosenthal poses with his picture and the camera he used to capture the image of the U.S. Marines planting the Stars and Stripes in rocks on Mt. Suribachi, Iwo Jima. Rosenthal was covering the war in the Pacific for the Associated Press. This photo originally appeared in the Feb. 20, 1965 issue of E&P.
