In today’s world, podcasts, vodcasts and streaming content are driving news media. Here’s an early iteration from July 8, 1994, where Mike Ellis, then executive editor of the Herald-standard in Uniontown, PA, discussed the week’s top stories with Mark O’keefe, his associate editor. They were preparing for a taping of the newspaper’s weekly cable television program, “Editor’s Notebook,” while the camera operator, Kathy Milne, was getting ready to roll.
