Shar­lotte Ann Romine, 63, of Ben­ton, passed away May 31. She was born Jan. 29, 1956, in Lit­tle Rock, to the late Tommy Joe and Bon­nie Marie (Henderson) Fowler.

Shar­lotte was known as the “Danc­ing Queen.” Her ra­dio was al­ways on and she could al­ways be found danc­ing around her home and at Stride House. Shar­lotte loved her fam­ily and en­joyed spend­ing time with them on hol­i­days. Christ­mas was her fa­vorite hol­i­day and Shar­lotte would buy and keep Christ­mas gifts ready all year long.

Shar­lotte leaves to cher­ish her mem­ory a daugh­ter, An­gela Rene Gober, of Ben­ton; a grand­daugh­ter, Ad­disyn Rene Malin; five sis­ters, Bon­nie Jo Fen­ton, of Lit­tle Rock, Joyce

Evans, of Ward, Wanda Faye Davis and hus­band, Rick, of Cabot, Tina Wigley, of Cabot, and Tammy Risola and hus­band, Tony, of Cabot; four broth­ers, Don Fowler and wife, Paula, of Bryant, Terry Fowler and wife, Pat, of Mayflower, Larry Fowler and wife, Vicky, of Lit­tle Rock, and Billy Fowler ,of Virginia; her best friend, Larry Pruitt; her four-legged com­pan­ion, Baby; and a num­ber of nieces, neph­ews, cousins and friends who loved Shar­lotte and will miss her al­ways.

A re­cep­tion visi­ta­tion will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Wed­nes­day, June 5, at Smith-ben­ton Fu­neral Home, lo­cated at 322 N. Mar­ket St. in Down­town Ben­ton.

A memo­rial ser­vice will fol­low at 11 a.m.
