Charles ‘C.Y.’ Sul­li­van


Charles “C.Y.” Sul­li­van, 58, of Ben­ton, passed away Tues­day, June 4. He was born April 8, 1961, in Mena, to Billy Eu­gene and Euna Louise (Blak­eney) Sul­li­van.

C.Y. loved spend­ing time with his fam­ily and grand­chil­dren. He en­joyed be­ing out­doors hunt­ing and fish­ing. C.Y. was a tal­ented auto tech­ni­cian and car en­thu­si­ast. Football was his fa­vorite sport and he was a huge Ra­zor­backs fan. C.Y. loved life and lived it to the fullest.

C.Y. was pre­ceded in death by his wife, Sherri Sul­li­van. He leaves be­hind to cher­ish his mem­ory his par­ents, Gene and Lou Sul­li­van, of Lit­tle Rock; three chil­dren, Er­ron Mccor­mack and hus­band, Corey, Brooks Sul­li­van,and April Sul­li­van, all of Ben­ton; three grand­chil­dren, Jaycee Mccor­mack, Ja­con Mccor­mack and Au­lene Mccor­mack; two broth­ers, Ken Sul­li­van and wife, Dawn, of Ma­bel­vale, and Danny Sul­li­van and wife, Karen, of North Lit­tle Rock; a sis­ter, Natalie Daugh­erty and hus­band, Neal, of Searcy; and a num­ber of nieces, neph­ews, fam­ily mem­bers and friends who loved C.Y. and will miss him al­ways.

A re­cep­tion visi­ta­tion will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Mon­day, June 10, at Smith-ben­ton Fu­neral Home, lo­cated at 322 N. Mar­ket St. in Ben­ton.

A me­mo­rial ser­vice, of­fi­ci­ated by Bro. Danny Sul­li­van, will fol­low at 11 a.m.
