Pa­tri­cia Ann Brum­ley

Pa­tri­cia Ann Brum­ley, 75, of Ben­ton, passed away July 21. She was born Dec. 16, 1943, in Pine Haven, to the late Al­gie and Marie (Wages) Brig­man.

Pa­tri­cia was of the Bap­tist faith. She loved spend­ing time with her fam­ily, es­pe­cially her grand­chil­dren. Pa­tri­cia ac­tu­ally pur­chased a Nin­tendo game sys­tem so she could prac­tice play­ing games and then chal­lenge her grand­son to play against her. Her fam­ily loved her South­ern-style cook­ing. Their fa­vorites in­cluded broc­coli corn­bread, bis­cuits and gravy and dev­iled eggs.

Pre­ced­ing Pa­tri­cia in death are her lov­ing hus­band, David Brum­ley; a daugh­ter, Deb­bie Brown; her par­ents, Al­gie and Marie Brig­man; and a brother, Ben Brig­man.

She leaves be­hind to cher­ish her mem­ory a daugh­ter, Tammy Parker and her hus­band, Todd, of Ben­ton; four grand­chil­dren, Eric Slat­ton and his wife, Heather, Kevin Sch­neible, Dal­ton Parker and Zayne Parker; four great-grand­chil­dren, Aspen, Hay­den, Seth and Jack­son; a sis­ter, Theresa Oden and her hus­band, Wil­bert Doyle, of Saline County; and many more fam­ily mem­bers and friends who loved Pa­tri­cia and will miss her al­ways.

A cel­e­bra­tion of life ser­vice, of­fi­ci­ated by Jonathan Bai­ley, will be held at 11 a.m. Satur­day, Aug. 10, at Smith-ben­ton Funeral Home, lo­cated at 322 N. Mar­ket St. in Down­town Ben­ton.
