Alta Louise Le­compte, 83, of Lit­tle Rock, passed away Tues­day, Aug. 13. Born in Lons­dale, to Daniel and Oma Bew­ley Dod­son, she was a mem­ber of Trin­ity Pen­te­costal Church of God. She loved to read, craft­ing with flow­ers and col­lect­ing bells.

She is sur­vived by a daugh­ter, Patty Le­compte, of Alexan­der; a son, Ron Le­compte (Shan­non), of Shreve­port, Louisiana; three sis­ters, Con­nie Alessi, Debby Borkowski and Janet Chap­man; six grand­chil­dren, Aaron Le­compte, Jamie Bald­win Wag­ner, Tommy Bald­win, Scott Le­compte, Daniel Le­compte and Colton Le­compte; three great-grand­chil­dren, R.J. Wag­ner, Tace Wag­ner and Aspen Wag­ner; and a num­ber of nieces, neph­ews, other fam­ily mem­bers and friends.

She was pre­ceded in death by her par­ents; two sis­ters, Nada San­ders and Lil­lie Suhr; and a brother, Gene Dod­son.

Visi­ta­tion will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. to­day, Aug. 16, at Lit­tle Rock Funeral Home, lo­cated at 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW cor­ner I-630 and Barrow Rd.).

Funeral ser­vice will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, at the funeral home, of­fi­ci­ated by Pas­tor Don Ras­coe, fol­lowed by in­ter­ment at Ten Mile Ceme­tery.
